Smelting everything by Perrier
This spot is a good example of a conscious advertising. Ogilvy brought in one simple concept two ideas that connect with the user. First is the refreshing power it has and second are the extremes temperatures that can the European Summer can have, principally in the south of Europe. This last, about the hotness also clearly states and remember the watchers about the problem of Global Warming, and in a funny way tells that Perrier is your salvation to fight the 40 grades you can have in the Mediterranean coast…
I’m a fan of Perrier. Outside Brazil, when in Europe I usually ask for Perrier when in a bar since it’s not so expensive as in Brazil, where a the 300ml bottle costs around R$5 in the supermarket, where another similar bottle costs around R$1,50. Usually the waters here the gas is artificially added and the healthy proprieties from the minerals are lower than in a natural one. A good bet for us Brazilians is the “Agua Prata” that has is has bicarbonate and is good for balancing the ph levels in the blood and stomach.
